Review: Bioderma White Objective Moussant

Hello Everyone…

Hope everyone is having a fabulous time… Today is such a perfectly busy day for me… And yet I thought I’ll quickly put this down before anything… I am a big fan of Bioderma products.. The two I've used: Bioderma Sensibio H2O and Atoderm PP cream have done wonders for me… I am not sponsored by Bioderma in any way but they are two products I would advertise and recommend any time of the day… So with this perspective in mind I ran down to get the Bioderma White Objective Moussant as soon as they posted its releasing pics … I had to make two disappointing trips to boots since this was always out of stock and finally I grabbed it from NMC Pharmacy…

Product Claim:  White Objective Moussant (Foaming cleanser) cleanses, evens out and brightens the complexion. It promotes the disappearance of brown spots and keeps them from reappearing. AHA’s combined with exfoliating beads gently remove cells loaded with melanin, while the W.O. patent regulates the biological mechanisms responsible for hyper pigmentation, thereby guaranteeing optimal lightening effectiveness. Soap free and enriched with moisturizing active ingredients, white objective moussant leaves the skin comfortable. Creamy scented foam. Face and body. All skin types. Very good cutaneous tolerance.

Judgement:

Packaging: It comes in a white squeeze tube containing 200ml of product.

Product: This is a lightening, exfoliating cleanser. It has a cleanser-y fresh fragrance. I would say the best part is that it is paraben free and hypoallergenic. It has minute exfoliating beads that provide day to day gentle exfoliation. It foams up quite well and hence you only need a very small amount. Also this is 2 in 1 product since you can even double this up as a mask to be used once or twice each week (I haven’ tried it that way). I used this product for a month and sadly I haven’t noticed any change in my skin tone and blemishes or brown spots…  I used this twice a day and I wish it wasn't exfoliating. It is really a very gentle exfoliation but I felt that when I needed to cleanse my skin twice it was a bit too much. It got my face quite dry also since maybe the weather and the product combined got things worse. So now am just trying to finish it and be done with it.. Sigh… Guess everything from a brand cannot be perfect…

Price: AED 58

Availability: Boots and all major pharmacies

Verdict: Will not be purchasing again

  1. Awww...that is really sad...
True that not all products from a brand is perfect....and to each person each products react differently...
Even I have had experiences like this....

    1. I know...So true... And one thing is never expect anything from a product ... But at the same time if you don't have the positive expectation for a product it will never work... So it's a vicious cycle...

  2. I agree with your reply to Abi!!.. Well, I never choose daily exfoliating products, even if they say it's mild. I use exfoliating products no more than twice a week.. Man, it's sad you had to pay that much for a cleanser that turned out to be so...
