Review: Boots Extracts Body Butter

I've been on the most busiest week of my life... It was my birthday last week and my sister and family( from India ) are here for my baby's first birthday which is coming up next month.. so there was all the errands and planning and organizing to catch up on... But I still wanted to write down this post cause I do really want to stay committed to this.. I'm a person who starts things and leaves them unfinished... But this blog is something I want to stick on and so I thought even if I am a lil irregular I must put up at least one post a week and it need not be on a fixed day of the week.. So guys here's from my side...

In my last post you saw my haul from Boots and as promised here's my review on the Boots Body Butter...

Product Claim : Extracts almond body butter intensively moisturizes and hydrates, leaving skin soft and smooth. Containing almond oil derived from the prunus amygdalus dulcis nut, Extracts almond body butter is organic, sustainably sourced and fair trade / Extracts vanilla body butter intensively moisturizes and hydrates, leaving skin soft and smooth.

Judgement:

Packaging: As with all body butters it comes in attractively designed twist open tubs containing 200ml of product.

Product: These are moderately thick body butters in fact just about the right consistency. They are creamy and smooth and do not stick onto the fines lines of your skin. They are not super greasy but they do leave a sort of greasiness/glow on the skin and yet they are not sticky. One would think that the only difference between the Vanilla and Almond would be the fragrance but it is not so... I felt the Almond was super rich and effective in controlling my dryness for longer period of time and made my skin super soft and smooth but I felt the vanilla began to show dry spots on my skin too soon... So ideally it is suitable for normal to dry skin and not very dry skin.. These body butters lasted a long time for me as a little goes a long way... The Vanilla had a typical vanilla-ish sweet scent but the Almond was a gorgeous nutty whiff and I went nutzzz.. But they do not linger on your skin for long They do have it in a couple more flavors like Shea Butter, Cocoa Butter  etc but they were running out of stock on that day...

Verdict: Will definitely purchase again
